Since 2002

Proclaiming the
Gospel to the
next generation

Who we are

We equip students as teen evangelists to reach their schools

Since 2002, we’ve equipped Christian students as “teen evangelists” to reach their peers and classmates for Christ. To date, we’ve seen over 10,000 students from 500 schools give their lives to Christ through on-campus, student-led outreach events.

The best part? These students now have the confidence to be evangelists for years to come.

Our history

Over 20 years of reaching students

What started as one man’s calling to reach students on campus has grown into a nationwide movement.

2002

Decision Point is founded

Originally known as the National School Project, the ministry launches with a vision to equip students to share the Gospel on their campuses.

2007

First major campus outreach

Early student-led outreach events demonstrate that teens can be effective evangelists among their peers.

2015

Coaching model established

The personalized coaching system launches, pairing every student leader with a dedicated coach who walks with them through the process.

2020

Rebrand to Decision Point

The ministry rebrands from National School Project to Decision Point, reflecting a broader vision for calling students to a decision for Christ.

2023

4 Year Campaign

A four-year campaign (June 2023 – May 2027) to reach 2.5 million students with the Gospel in partnership with 1,000 churches and 10,000 student leaders.

Today

10,000+ students across 500 schools

The movement continues to grow — and the mission won’t stop till every student has heard.

Our Campus Objectives

What the mission looks like at every school

We challenge and equip student leaders to reach their whole campus with the Gospel. Here’s how we break that down.

Reach every student

Many public schools have an average of 2,000 students in attendance. Every student is unique and of incredible value to God, so why settle for only reaching a handful of them? Our objective is to share the Gospel ’til every student has heard.

Mobilize Christian students

It is equally important to involve as many Christian students as possible in accomplishing that goal. We want to help raise up an entire new generation of bold Christian witnesses for Christ.

Gather community support

The most effective outreaches happen at schools with support from the Christian community. Parents, teachers, school administration, and churches all have a role to play. Our dream is to connect at least one church to every campus we coach.

Develop future leaders

A new group of students come to campus every year, which means this mission never ends. To ensure long-term ministry health at a school, new leaders must continually be developed.

Beliefs & Values

Our evangelical identity, doctrinal statement, and the core values that inspire everything we do.

What we believe

There is one God eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This one God is the creator of all things visible and invisible.

Jesus is the eternal Son of God who took on flesh and became a man, without compromising or shedding His Deity. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He alone accomplished our salvation through His perfect life and sacrificial death on the cross for our sins. There is salvation in no one but Him. God raised Him physically from the dead. He ascended to Heaven and He will come again to judge the living and the dead.

Isaiah 53:4-6; John 1:1-3; 13:13; 14:6; Acts 4:12; I Corinthians 15:3-6; Philippians 2:11; Hebrews 10:12-14

The Holy Spirit is a divine person of the Godhead. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and truth, and draws men and women to faith in Christ. He is given to all true believers to indwell them. He empowers and equips believers for service and enables growth in their walk with God. He purifies them from sin and the deeds of the flesh. He produces in them the fruit of the Spirit and assures them of their salvation.

John 3:6-7; Acts 1:8; 2:4; I Corinthians 2:14-15; 12:11-13; II Corinthians 3:18; Galatians 5:22-23; I Peter 1:2; I John 4:13

The Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God. It is our only authority in faith and practice. Because every word is inspired by God, it is without error in the original manuscripts. It is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness. Believers study it diligently so that they may be good servants who are equipped for lives of fruitful ministry.

II Timothy 2:15; 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21

Mankind was created by God in His image but willfully chose to sin. All men and women are now born under sin and live their lives as sinners deserving judgment from God. All those who believe in Jesus will be saved from this judgment. All others will consciously receive their due punishment by the righteous wrath of God forever in Hell.

Isaiah 53:6; Mark 9:43-44; Luke 16:23-24; John 3:36; Romans 3:9-12; 5:12

God saves those sinners who repent of their sins and believe in Jesus Christ. They are justified freely and exclusively by God’s grace, through faith in Christ, and apart from works. They are forgiven of all their sins, born again as new creatures, and adopted as children of God.

Core values

Everything we do exists to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the next generation. The Gospel is the center of our mission, our content, and our strategy.

We believe students are the most effective evangelists to their peers. We equip and empower them to lead — not do it for them.

The local church is essential. We connect churches to campuses and build lasting partnerships that sustain ministry beyond any single student generation.

No student does this alone. Personalized coaching is the backbone of our model, every student leader is paired with a coach who walks with them.

We pursue financial integrity, relational integrity, and organizational integrity. We are accountable to God and to the people who trust us with their support.

Our mission doesn’t end until every student has had the opportunity to hear the Gospel. That’s not a tagline — it’s our mandate.

Transparency

Accountable to God and to you

We take the donations of our financial partners as a gift from God and deserving of the highest levels of care. We’re audited annually and committed to full financial integrity.
