God Directed

We believe that equipping young people for evangelism and reaching the next generation with the gospel is a mission that God wants done. Jesus is the head of the Church and of this ministry. Our marching orders come from His Word as do the principles by which we carry out our ministry.

Eternal significance

We are passionate about our work knowing that in Christ, our labor is not in vain but in fact it is changing lives forever. Young people will be in heaven because of the work we do, and we know that young leaders are being trained up for evangelism for a lifetime.

National Impact

We are gripped by the spiritual attack on the next generation and the devastating consequences this has on students’ lives and on our nation. We are compelled by the power of God to heal our land and by the revival we are seeing as students lead a new “Jesus Movement” for our time.

Flexible Work Hours: There’s plenty to do and we’re happy to talk about making work hours fit for you.
Remote Work Perks: We provide a cell phone for all staff and wifi and printer for eligible team members working from home.
Competitive Compensation: We pay at salary levels to attract and retain staff for the long haul.
Health Insurance: Staff have their choice of several PPO and HMO, and HSA compatible plans. We cover 50% of plans for staff and dependents.
Dental Insurance: We cover 50% of premiums on our PPO dental plan for staff members and dependents.
Vision Insurance: We cover 50% of premiums on our vision plan for staff members and dependents.
Paid Gospel Outreach and Prayer Time: In addition to time off, all staff get paid time to join on-campus outreach, go witnessing on a regular basis, and pray together every week.
Paid Time Off: Accrue three to four weeks of PTO every year.
Holidays: Celebrate 14 days of holiday throughout the year, including Good Friday, Thankful Friday, and the full week between Christmas and New Years.
Maternity Coverage: Take up to 12 weeks of paid maternity leave for eligible staff.

One Team, Many Places

Our team of long-term staff are in major metropolitan areas around the country. We’re not always in the same place, but we always enjoy working together.

We have two offices, one in Whittier, CA, and another in Wheaton, IL, plus all staff have a work-from-home location. Wherever you’re working from, we stay connected in several ways:

Daily contact on team chat and video platforms for regular collaboration whenever you need to connect.
Weekly team meetings for regular coaching, guidance, calibration with your working group.
Monthly All staffs via video conference for big picture updates, vision casting, prayer, and celebration of what God is doing around the nation.
Annual Staff retreats in person – for staff and their families to come together, recharge, and refocus on the mission before us and our heart for the gospel.

And throughout the year, we take many opportunities to travel for face time and on-site events. Whenever we’re together, it’s a blast. When we’re apart, we’re always in touch.

Evangelical Christian Identity

The Decision Point is firmly identified as an evangelical Christian organization. Applicants must be ready to sign on to our doctrinal statement and live out an active Christian faith in word and deed.

Witnessing

Decision Point is a great commission ministry and everyone – including admin staff – is involved in sharing the gospel. Your supervisor will ensure that you are regularly involved in taking the initiative to share Christ with students who do not know Him.

Compensation and Fundraising

We are a non-profit ministry where every member of our staff is involved in fundraising and all of our staff are paid well for their work. We set fair compensation for staff, a salary they can count on from day one. And we give all of our staff the training and tools to build a team of partners to pray with you and send you into ministry. Your salary isn’t dependent on it, but the students we coach are. If you feel like God might be calling you, do not let support raising stop you; let’s talk first.
